A fogorvosi szakzsargon is valószínűleg hasonlóan fogalmazna.

Champion in crawling - Timur's development

Timur turned 9 months this week. (He has already spent 1,5 years on this earth together with his life in the womb. How weird that we never count those months when we talk about one's age. It's an important part of life though.) He is developing rapidly. I was surprised to see how well he can sit, stand and sit down while also trying to grab something lying on the floor. Crawling is his main movement to move forward. Since his curioucity drives him, he has become quite good and fast at it by now. When he takes a short distance he stops and looks back at us with a smile. :)

He likes to "annoy" us by pushing the buttons of the fax machine. We have already made measures to avoid this, but he still finds his way. I'm sure it's not about annoying us, but all those buttons make noise and that's great. The more the noise, the more the fun. I wonder how many people he has called already. :)

All in all, we are very happy parents, Timur is a lovely little boy, who is interested in anything new, even if it is just a little piece of dirt on the floor. He takes everything into his hand and then into his mouth. We have to take care that he doesn't swallow anything harmful. He likes to play with catfood, so we diligently put the bowls up on the table when Timur enters the kitchen. Mathijs told me yesterday that Timur had surely tasted it before. :)

He articulates quite a lot of sounds. Sometimes it has even a communicative function when he tries to tell us something. The rest is mostly story telling. He has special noise for the cats. Timur enjoys music a lot! Shoebeedoebeedubbbaba... :)

Hot weather - ease it with a bath

We had some really hot days in Amsterdam. Temperature went up to 35 degrees. Not a joke, especially not with a baby, who has never experienced summer before. We put Timur's bath on the balcony, which he enjoyed a lot. I cooled him with a wet cloth, which he didn't like that much. When I started putting the cloth on my head and did all kinds of funny tricks, we had quite some fun. Unlike the day before, when he cried 2!! hours long. There were simply no cures. Nothing worked then. He probably had stomack ache from all the food he ate during the day. I was a bit more pushy with solid food and his stomack pushed back...

babamassage

Not so regular, but happens often. Very effective when Timur has problems with passing food through. After a little oily massage we can hardly keep up with changing diapers... :) Works like a charmer.
